Such steps are much easier to take as part of a fellowship, both locally and nationally. Diocesan Evangelical Fellowships are gathering momentum, organising meetings with bishops, making public statements, pausing parish share and much more. It is more than a month since General Synod, and it is encouraging to hear of churches and individuals taking courageous steps around the country.
